On-site Issues:
The client is a magnesium industry enterprise, primarily producing metal magnesium, soda ash, calcium chloride, and other products. With a large production capacity, the company has high requirements for production control and measurement management, thus demanding high precision from the electronic belt scales. The client's on-site belt conveyors are level without inclination, and there is ample installation space. However, physical calibration is inconvenient.
Installation and Commissioning:
Based on the client's precision and calibration requirements, one conveyor was equipped with a fully suspended belt scale including a hidden chain code, and another with a matrix-type belt scale including a hidden chain code. On the first day of on-site construction, all components of the belt scales and chain codes were installed, but the motors were not installed due to the lack of suitable lifting points. On the second and third days, the existing belt scales were removed, and the chain codes for the matrix-type belt scale were installed. On the fourth day, with the crane ready, the belt scale frames were installed. After wiring, commissioning was carried out, and both belt scales met the precision requirements, with the chain code calibration precision also satisfying the standards. Relevant on-site personnel were trained.
