KJJ12 mining intrinsic safety switch provides transmission channels for equipment with Ethernet RJ45 communication interface, Ethernet optical communication interface or RS485 communication interface. This switch is a brand new broadband communication device for coal mine underground, fully compliant with industrial Ethernet standards, providing the ability of 10/100/1000Mbps fast Ethernet, and can be remotely managed through the network, easily achieving remote configuration and port traffic restriction settings.

It has coal mine safety certification and intrinsic safety certification, and also complies with IEC60079-11 international certification, suitable for environments with gas, coal dust explosion hazards, and cooling water splashing hazards.
Easy disassembly and relocation
It can be directly installed in the underground environment of coal mines without the need for an additional explosion-proof box, making it easy to install and route. Due to the high cost of explosion-proof boxes, using this switch can save users' data communication costs.
High real-time communication efficiency
It has rich interfaces, as well as Ethernet twisted pair electrical interfaces, Ethernet fiber optic interfaces, and RS485 data interfaces, which can fully meet the communication needs of various equipment in coal mines.
Working Principle
CAM table item matching and forwarding
After receiving the data frame, the switch first searches for the corresponding relationship between MAC address and port in the CAM table. If the match is successful, forward the data frame directly to the corresponding port; If not matched, broadcast to all ports. After successful matching, update the table entry timer and reset the timer.
Dynamic addition of table items and timeout mechanism

When forwarding for the first time, the CAM table adds the correspondence between MAC address and port, and the timer starts counting. Reset the timer when subsequent data frames pass through this port. If a table entry is not used for a long time (timeout), the CAM table automatically deletes the entry and releases resources.
Broadcast learning and table item updates
After the broadcast of unmatched data frames, the terminal MAC address is returned through another port, and the switch updates the CAM table entry to associate with the new port. The table entry timer is continuously reset to ensure that active ports are always recorded. After timeout, unused table entries are automatically cleared to avoid resource waste.
