The ICS electronic belt scale is a widely used series of electronic belt scales, which is used for measuring various industrial bulk materials such as metallurgy, mining, coal, building materials, cement, etc. It is also suitable for various common and harsh environments such as acid, alkali, and salt. It has high measurement accuracy, stable operation, simple operation, and strong practicality.

Many users, when learning about ICS electronic belt scales, must have also discovered that this is a series of belt scales, including various types such as ICS-17, ICS-14, etc. There are also two models, A and B, in one type. Many people do not understand the specific characteristics and differences of these different models of ICS electronic belt scales. Today, Guonuo Technology will briefly introduce them to you.

ICS-14 electronic belt scale


(1) ICS-14 electronic belt scale

The ICS-14 electronic belt scale is the most accurate type in the ICS electronic belt scale series, divided into ICS-14A and ICS-14B. The characteristics of the ICS-14A electronic belt scale are the use of four rollers, a fully suspended weighing bridge, no support points or movable parts, no ear shafts, and lighter mechanical components. It is equipped with four weighing sensors that can be directly hung on the crossbeam. Therefore, in terms of measurement, this type of structure is less affected by biased loads, less affected by its own components, less prone to deformation, has high long-term stability, and high measurement accuracy.

Applicable scenarios: High measurement accuracy and good stability, suitable for high-precision applications with high process requirements or trade settlement needs. The angle of the belt conveyor cannot exceed 6 degrees.

Compared to the ICS-14A model, the ICS-14B model has one less set of rollers, resulting in a three roller, fully suspended weighing frame. Suitable for situations where the inclination angle of the conveyor is small, the installation space is short, but the measurement accuracy is high.

(2) ICS-17 electronic belt scale

The ICS-17 electronic belt scale belongs to the medium series and is a lever type structure, also divided into two models: ICS-17A and ICS-17B. The ICS-17A belt scale is a four roller, double bar structure, equipped with two pull type weighing sensors. The scale frame support is composed of frictionless rubber ear shafts, which are shockproof, moisture-proof, and corrosion-resistant. Even in harsh environments, there is no occurrence of precision deviation caused by corrosion of supporting points such as crossings and bearings. The characteristics of this weighing frame structure are a long weighing area, strong filtering ability, resistance to lateral and horizontal forces, which can effectively reduce the impact of belt deviation and material dropping on measurement.

Applicable occasions: mainly used in the main belt conveyor system. The angle of the belt conveyor cannot exceed 17 degrees.

The structural features of ICS-17B are similar to those of ICS-17A type weighing frame, but the weighing is half of ICS-17A type. It is a double roller, single bar weighing structure with a simple structure, easy installation and debugging, and low maintenance costs.

(3) ICS-20 electronic belt scale

At present, the application of ICS-20 belt scales is generally limited, and it is also divided into ICS-20A and ICS-20B types. The ICS-20A model adopts a lever structure design, using a pull type weighing sensor, and the outer support adopts a frictionless ear pivot point, which can effectively overcome the influence of bias load and slope on accuracy, and has strong environmental adaptability.

Applicable occasions: Belt conveyors are relatively short, or allow for installation space that is small and does not require high measurement accuracy. The angle of the belt conveyor cannot exceed 17 degrees.

Similarly, the structural features of the ICS-20B electronic belt scale are the same as those of the ICS-20A model, but the weighing area is half of the ICS-20A model, with a single roller lever structure and a continuous weighing sensor.

ICS-30 electronic belt scale


(4) ICS-30 electronic belt scale

The ICS-30 electronic belt scale is a fully suspended structure, occupying a small space and having a wide range of applications. The ICS-30A electronic belt scale is a lever free, single roller, fully suspended belt scale with a simple frame structure, light weight, and quick installation. It is suitable for situations where precision is not high and installation is simple. It can provide instantaneous flow and cumulative flow for process control and production monitoring of products.

The ICS-30B model has the same structure as the ICS-30A model, except that there is only one weighing sensor, which is one less than the ICS-30A. It is suitable for situations with lower budgets, low accuracy requirements, and easy installation, and is mostly used for monitoring conveyor belt load scenarios.

The inclination angle of the ICS-30 installation conveyor cannot exceed 17°.
