In industries such as building materials, iron and steel, cement, and mining, bulk materials are mostly transported by belt conveyors, and electronic belt scales are used for dynamic metering during the conveying process.

With the development of industries, the requirements for the metering accuracy of electronic belt scales have become increasingly stringent. To improve the metering accuracy and stability of electronic belt scales, manufacturers keep optimizing and innovating sensors, instruments and scale frames.

At present, among various scale frame structures, the full suspended electronic belt scale is a high-precision type of belt scale.

Full Suspended Electronic Belt Scale


The full suspended electronic belt scale adopts a full suspended multi-idler scale frame. Different from the mechanical lever force transmission type, it adopts a special connection mode of high-precision sensors to cleverly suspend the weighing frame in the space of the belt conveyor.

It eliminates the impact of lever force transmission structural parts on metering, and removes errors and faults caused by the lever force transmission structure.

The full suspended electronic belt scale features stronger environmental adaptability and can operate normally under harsh conditions such as dust, vibration and uneven material feeding, effectively improving the overall metering accuracy and stability of the electronic belt scale.

The full suspended electronic belt scale is equipped with multiple sets of idlers and four weighing sensors. It consists of weighing idlers, supports and a scale frame.

The scale frame is provided with two longitudinal beams and two transverse beams, and the four weighing sensors are connected to the longitudinal beams of the scale frame.

Two upper transverse beams are mounted on the frame of the belt conveyor, enabling the scale frame to be suspended in the belt conveyor frame via the four weighing sensors.

This design makes the scale frame free of supporting points, moving parts and wearing parts. It is easy to manufacture and transport, maintains long-term reliable and stable operation in service, and requires little maintenance work.

In actual tests, under the same environment and application conditions, with the same configuration of weighing sensors, speed measuring sensors and instruments, and conveying the same materials, a comparison was made between the lever-type electronic belt scale and the full suspended electronic belt scale.

The results prove that the full suspended electronic belt scale delivers higher metering accuracy and long-term stability, stronger adaptability, and extremely low daily maintenance requirements.
